How do I apply for financial aid?
Federal Title IV aid programs will not be available until accreditation for GGC has been secured. However, the Georgia Gwinnett College Foundation is offering a needs-based GGC Foundation Grant in the place of federal aid.
Students applying for the GGC Foundation Grant, based on their financial status, are asked to e-mail ggcadmissions@ggc.usg.edu to request additional information on the grant process. In addition to this grant, GGC has partnered with the following education lenders to offer low interest student loans: Chase, Citibank, SallieMae, SunTrust/Nelnet Alternative Program Loan.
The GGC Foundation Grant provides tuition, books, and fees but does not
provide living expenses.

What is the accreditation status?
Georgia Gwinnett College is applying for accreditation in February, 2007. Schools cannot apply for accreditation before the first students are enrolled. The accreditation process generally takes 18 to 36 months for start-up institutions. We do not anticipate any variance with GGC. Therefore, students applying for freshman enrollment in GGC for the fall 2007 semester can expect that the college will be fully accredited upon their graduation.
