Through intense, focused study, this class improves students’ ability to read critically, to generate and organize ideas, to write correct and effective sentences and to develop fully ideas and arguments at the paragraph level.

 

Student Success ENGL 0099
This class builds upon and strengthens students’ core communication skills. It teaches students to identify and use effective and appropriate communication styles for various purposes and audiences, to generate, develop and organize ideas for multiple essays, and to use effective sentence structure, grammar and style in essays.
