Curriculum Committee
The Curriculum Committee serves a vital role in the development of the undergraduate curriculum at GGC.
The charge of the committee is:
- To incorporate the goals derived from Georgia Gwinnett College’s Mission Statement into the curriculum.
- To implement established procedures for review and approval of new courses and programs as well as changes in existing courses or program requirements.
- To approve of the undergraduate curricula. (Implementation of College Curriculum Committee decisions are subject to action by the Vice President of Academic Affairs of the College.)
- To oversee the generation of all catalog copy for courses and programs in coordination with the Office of Enrollment Management.
- To hold a meeting at least once a month during the academic year. A faculty member may attend any meeting.
- To distribute the recorded minutes of each meeting to the members of the Committee and to other persons deemed appropriate.
