Members of the GGC Relay for Life team get ready at their team site at the Gwinnett County Fairgrounds.

Members and friends of the GGC community walked to "Swipe Out Cancer" in the 15th Gwinnett County Relay for Life on May 9 and 10.

The GGC Relay for Life team consisted of 26 students, faculty and staff. As of May 12, the team had raised $8,654.96.

Participating in Relay for Life provided an opportunity for students, faculty and staff to engage with the broader community while developing the sense of service learning that is a component of academics at GGC.
