Lunch & Learns are a great opportunity to meet with co-workers for lunch and to learn more about various topics.  Representatives from Wachovia at Work, Gwinnett Federal Credit Union and Teachers Retirements System of GA are among the presenters.  Take a look at some of our sessions:

Employee Professional Development Programs

We recognize the importance of continuous improvement for our employees here at GGC.  We support the Tuition Assistance Program (TAP), which allows GGC employees the opportunity to pursue a degree at the Bachelors, Masters or Doctorate level after a 6 month period of working within the USG system.    In addition, the Office of Human Resources has begun to implement some programs to meet various departmental initiatives. In February of 2008, we implemented our first training course, "Supervisor Training – Performance Evaluations and Performance Improvement Plans."

 

Sexual Harrassment Prevention

All GGC employees are required to complete mandatory sexual harassment prevention training annually. Training is also available online.  Remember to print the certification of completion.
