Eligibility for Joint Enrollment
- A minimum 480 verbal and 460 math scores on the SAT-1 and a combined SAT score of 970 or a minimum of 21 English and 19 mathematics score on the ACT and at least a composite score of 20;
- A high school grade point average of 3.0 in courses taken for the required College Preparatory Curriculum unit;
- Your parent’s/guardian’s written consent; and
- A plan to complete the University System of Georgia College Preparatory Curriculum requirement on schedule.
Ready to Apply?
Apply online. On page four of the application in the High School Information section, you will be asked for Diploma Type. Select "Joint Enrollment." You may also complete the application at the GGC Office of Admissions in Building D.
Don't forget - you'll need to submit a copy of your high school transcripts and the Joint Enrollment Parental Consent Form. Take a look at the GGC classes offered, then meet with your high school counselor and GGC mentor to plan your class schedule.
Financial Aid
Financial Aid is available to Joint Enrollment students through the Accel Scholarship (tuition, approved fees and book stipend). Visit GAcollege411 for information on the Accel Program for high school juniors and seniors.
