The New GGC Library
The 90,000 square-foot library is slated to open in the fall of 2010, with a capacity for 300,000 volumes. It will have silver-level certification from the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) program; LEED promotes the whole-building approach to sustainability by recognizing performance in six key areas of human and environmental health.
